SOPA: Pre-Arrival Services for Approved Immigrants to Canada funded by IRCC
Settlement Online Pre-Arrival (SOPA) is a program for people who live outside of Canada and have received approval from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to immigrate to Canada.
Resources and courses are offered at no charge and include one-on-one orientation, job search support, and workplace culture training, and referral to a wide range of post-arrival services upon entry to Canada.
This program is funded by IRCC, and the goodness of SOPA is province specific. Each province in Canada have SOPA but not for Quebec. To register go to https://arriveprepared.ca/ or email sopa@alteredminds.ca for those specifically residing to Manitoba
