Hey everyone,

i will try to keep it short and brief. I had applied for SP for studying advance diploma back in 2018 and got rejected twice in a timespan of 3 and half months eventually i moved on and completed my studies i UAE were i was born and raised. I have completed successfully my degree and now gonna apply for my masters. I have done almost everything got my ielts done paid gic , bank statements ready and even got my offer letter and paid complete one year fee. Now the main question is for my SOP alot if people on this forum say a sop should not be more than 2 pages . Yes i agree with that but that applies for a person who is applying for the first time . I need to justify my refusal reasons which is coming up to 4 pages including my family info , why Canada, why this university and future plans. My main concern is should justify my previous refusal in letter if explanation (loe) or just mention all together in sop. Please someone reply cause this would really help me.

Hello,

There is no stipulated page length for writing SOP/LOE. It should be based on the individual personal circumstances/situation and/or how it has evolved (for reapplicants).

In your situation, it may be advised for you to use the SOP to explain your study plan in Canada whilst the LOE to address the VO's concerns and any grey areas in your application or personal circumstances.

Best of Luck

Page length does not matter. Your study permit is not determined by SOP or the length of it.
