Hi everyone! I am so confused as to what exactly AOR2 means.. does the second line in ecas mean that they began reviewing your application? Or does it just mean it’s in queue to be reviewed? I’m reading different answers and I really just need some clarification.

AOR2 means the Visa office processing your application confirmed they received your application from Mississauga.

So in reality it has nothing to do with them actuslly “processing” the application?

On ECAS you can seen when they started processing your application. New line will with; WE STARTED PROCESSING......

In my case, AOR1 was to say mississauga got my file, then i got SA (sponsor approval) then a confirmation my file was sent to the Visa Office (ours was mexico), and then the AOR2 to say they started to process our file at the VO
