My NOC CODE is 4212 (Sept 2013 – Dec 2014) and Employment requirements as per CIC is:

• Completion of a college or university program in social work, child and youth care, psychology or other social science or health-related discipline is usually required.
• Previous work experience in a social service environment as a volunteer or in a support capacity may replace formal education requirements for some occupations in this unit group.
• Social service workers may be required to be a member of a provincial regulatory body in some provinces.

I have a BSc in Biochemistry 2007 and MSc in Safety Health and Environmental Management 2010 please what do I answer to the question below?

Date ............... first became qualified to practice in this occupation
If the "primary occupation" is:
• a qualified trade (four-digit code begins with 632, 633, 72, 73, 82, 92), this is the date they became qualified to practice on their own in Canada. (For example, when they moved from apprentice to being a licensed tradesperson.)
• any other job, this is the date they first obtained the minimum education or training stated in the NOC description. (Note: if the NOC only states high school, this is the date they graduated.)

Many Thanks

From my understanding, it will be the date you meet the minimum job requirements for your job. If your job requires minimum of a bachelors degree, you use 2007. If it requires a masters, use 2010. If it requires "on the job training," use the date you received that training.
