Some questions related to PR Visa affter Passport Request from CIC

I'm Provincial Nominee of Nova Scotia and i submitted documents for PR Application on 17th December 2015

- RPRF Fee Payment (Done)
- Medical (Done)

After I received Passport Request letter from CIC on 25th April 2016.

I have sent my Passport on 27th April (VAS Islamabad received it on 28th April 2016) to Visa Office Islamabad.


** Now I'm Waiting for my Passports to Return. Please tell me the following?

1. How much time does it take for VISA Office Islamabad to respond.
2. Being a provincial nominee, does it effect on process for Visa application.
3. What are the next steps, after the allotment of PR Visa.
4. Present my status on VISA Status shows:
"Visa application, tracking ID No.**************** Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, ISLAMABAD on 28/04/2016. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website."

What does this mean?

1. How much time does it take for VISA Office Islamabad to respond. It varies depending on VO. In average, 2-3 weeks

2. Being a provincial nominee, does it effect on process for Visa application. So far, no data to prove it
3. What are the next steps, after the allotment of PR Visa. Landing and officially become PR

4. Present my status on VISA Status shows:
"Visa application, tracking ID No.**************** Your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada Visa Office, ISLAMABAD on 28/04/2016. To know more, please call VAC helpline number or visit VAC website."

What does this mean? As you submit your passport via VAC, it is just the status update - meaning VAC has forwarded your passport to VO
