Some queries regarding the study permit

Hi all, I have some questions and if you could address them, I would be very grateful.

1) In the proof of funds section, it is not necessary to have the entire amount for the first year in the bank or some liquid form, right? I will be able to show that my family income is enough to sufficiently cover all expenses. Will that be enough or is it advisable to show more money in the bank or some other liquid assets?

2) How long does it take to get a study permit issued? The estimate processing time for my country is 12 weeks but I know of people who have gotten it within 2 weeks so a bit confused. Please let me know if you have any idea that represents the average time taken

1. You need to show enough liquid funds to cover your tuition and living expenses for 1 year.
2. Processing time varies based on the country from which you are applying. It's also based on workload distribution and the complexity of your application. No one can give you an accurate estimation.
