Some doubts about EE application

Hi,

I have to submit my EE application soon but I am having few doubts.
I have finished my high school in (gr 11 and 12) in Toronto, completed university here and now about to complete one year of full time employment.

I am not sure about few fields in EE online application:

1) Family section:
- How much money (in Canadian dollars) will (my_name) bring to Canada to support themselves and their family?

Do I have to put down the required $12,475 although I am already in Canada? Or can I simply state how much funds I have at the moment and attaching letter of explanation would be enough?

2) Education section:

Should I list my Canadian high school to show that I was in Canada for longer or it does not really matter?

3) Work History section:
- Does (my_name) have a job offer in Canada?

Should I put this as a yes or a no? I have already been working in Canada for almost one year under the NOC code that was required for the application. Someone told me this applies only for people coming from outside Canada, so I should put as "no". Can anyone confirm?

4) Also as for police clearance, as far as I understand I do not require it since I arrived to Canada when I was 16. Please let me know if I am correct on this :)

Thank you very much for your help.

1) If CEC, no proof of funds required. If FSW, you'll have to show proof of funds even if you're already in Canada, unless you have a valid job offer with LMIA. In that case, enter at least 12,475CA$. You can enter more, but you'll have to show proof of that amount you choose. You can't just attach a LOE. You need to submit bank documents. More information below:
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/proof-funds.html

2)Only include in that section, education for which you're claiming points. If high school is your only degree, then yes. If not, move it to personal history. It doesn't matter to put it there to show you've been in Canada for a long time. They will see it in address history and personal history.

3)To answer "yes", you need a job offer supported by proof of LMIA. If no LMIA supported job offer, answer "no".
What that person meant was probably that the work continuity requirement to be eligible only applies to work experience acquired outside of Canada. I don't think it was related to the job offer.

4) Well you don't need a PCC for Canada indeed, but not because you arrived there at the age of 16 like you say. That's the wrong reason.
It's because per CIC requirements, you have to wait for them to tell you if they need one, and therefore won't provide one upon application submission. How it works is: If you've been living there for 6 months or more since the age of 18, rest assured they will make a request for one.

Thanks a lot guys.. Very helpful.
However just one more thing - sorry if stupid question:

I am planning to apply under CEC as I only have work experience in Canada. However, from my understanding I thought it doesn't matter under which stream you apply as you have to fill out the express entry form and then the system chooses which stream is best for you? Please let me know if that's correct or not.. Thank you!

Yes, the system will do the check in the following order, and invite you accordingly.
-CEC
-FSW
-FST

You indeed don't "choose" per se, but different conditions apply depending on which stream you're invited to. The information on your express entry profile will be the same, but criteria for eligibility different.
