Hi everybody,

I am currently living in the US and I intend to work with Buffalo for all of my future contacts. However, I might come back my country 3 months after I send my supporting documents and not come back the US any more.

I don't know at which period of time the visa office will contact me the most offen (in case my application is approved, so I am not sure if I should work with Buffalo office or my country's visa office.

Also, if I will be called for an interview, do I have to go to Buffalo or Canada?

Thanks so much.

Apply where you will be residing.

In case an interview is necessary, you might have it either on the phone, where you have applied, or the nearest Canadian embassy.

If you apply to Buffalo and then move out of the US, your application might be transferred to where will be living.

Extremely unlikely that the application would be transferred. If the OP is called for an interview a Buffalo and does not appear, then they make the decision with the information on file, which in 99% of cases is a refusal. Afaik no office does telephone interviews for skilled workers.

If I still choose Buffalo office, there will be a visa issue because I need to apply for it to go to Buffalo (since I won't have a visa to come back the US at that time).
So can you guys tell me how long it will take since the time I send all supporting documents to the time for interview (if everything goes smooth)?

Also, will the consulate issue visa for me if I say I need to go to Buffalo for an interview? Or do I just need to apply for tourist visa?

Thanks.

If you don't have a US visitor visa, it is extremely unlikely that the US would issue one to attend an interview.
