I am a silent observer of this forum but never got registered. I must say that this forum is really helpful and people here are doing great job.
I applied for Canadian Citizenship in August 2013 from Calgary and they started processing it on 12th Nov 2013. The file was transferred to Calgary in March, 2014
Today I called CIC and was informed by the agent that my test has been scheduled for 5th January, 2015. But the problem is that i have not received the test invitation letter yet. The mailed it out on 28th November, 2014.
I asked the agent about it and he told me that i have to go the test regardless whether you receive the letter or not. He also mentioned the documents to bring on the day of test.
I am confused now and want some suggestions from people here.

Advice of Cic agent is perfect.when ever speak to CiC agent don't forget to note down the name of agent & date & time.

call the call centre and ask them what needs to be taken for the test.

Your test may be written or oral. We decide if your test will be written or oral based on a number of things. For example, if you have trouble reading and writing in English or French, you will have an oral test.
Oral tests are done through an interview with a citizenship officer.
When you come for your written or oral test, bring:
the original documents you sent with your application and
any passport or travel documents you used in the four years before you applied.

No worries! Your name is on that day CIC test taker list. You just have to show up with your documents and you should be fine.
