I saw one post today where one application was cancelled because of a similar issue. I see that you still have time to submit your documents. I would suggest that get India PCC and then apply with complete package or atleast wait till you have time.

Through BLS Vancouver, I got my India PCC in less than 2 weeks.
And that's what I am going to do! Just today morning I decided that I'll get a PCC from the passport office from India. I am anyway reaching India on 23rd May - I'll get it on 25th May (they give it immediately, my case is very clear). And then submit the application at the VERY LAST MOMENT! :D

I think we are refering to the same thread - and after reading that I thought I won't take any risk! Thanks buddy! All the best for your application.

If you haven't travelled to India after September 2014, then that PCC will work.
This says 3 months

The PCs must have been issued in the three months prior to the submission of the e-APR.
The PCs are required upfront and mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has lived for six or more months in a row.

Passport Bio pages and travel documents are mandatory for all express entry applicants. Due to the error in the system, some people don't have it in their document checklist. People have been advised to apply and later send Case Specific Inquiry.

I want to recommend this option first before you apply. In MYCIC portal, you have this email address (question@cic.gc.ca), the purpose of that email is to report any technical issue about our your MYCIC portal. I will take a screenshot of my Document checklist and send an email to question@cic.gc.ca. Explain the issue to them and I am sure they will be more technically ready to help you that CSI.

This is just a suggestion!

That sounds like a practical solution, but the problem is CIC is taking ages to respond! I think doing both won't harm you - its just an email. I'll also send an email prior to submission and then once again after applying for case specific enquiry.

Well, it does say 3 months, but in the other thread where someone's application was canceled due to lack of PCC from FBI, he has pasted the email that CIC had sent to him. The email clearly stated that they canceled since the PCC was not less than 6 months old - as they require. Which means, they should be fine with 6 month old PCC.

And that makes sense - since a PCC is typically valid for 1 year. So, considering their timeline of processing PR in 6 months (or less) - the PCC should be within last 6 months so that the total becomes 12 months.

Proof of status field is not on my list ..... Is there any body facing this issue?
Proof of status is for your contact in your relative in Canada. If you haven't claimed points for that, they might not ask you for that field. But in case you have the points, then it seems like an issue from the software side.

I have a relative and I am provided the field to submit the evidence.

Well, the 3 months rule has been changed sometime back. This is what the new rule states -

For the country you currently live in, the police certificate must be issued no more than six months before you apply.

For countries where you have lived for six months or more, the police certificate must be issued after the last time you lived in that country.

CIC have always provided contradictory information on the PCC, when I applied last year for CEC in October (application returned because of cap) there was conflicting information on the website then too. If I were you I would aim to submit PCCs less than 3 months old if possible to be on the safe side
