Software Engineers Canada Immigration

Hello All,

Last Year I heard IT skilled workers are not accepted for Canada Immigration! But I think this year they can Apply right?

My Hubby is a Software Engineer, Have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from Bangladesh and have Total 6 years of working experience here in Bangladesh as Software Engineer. IELTS overall Band score 6.00

What is his chance for Immigration. Please help with proper information and link!

Does He need to have experience in Canada? He does not have Masters degree.

Last year 2174 for software developer was in the list of 24 eligible occupation and even this year it is there in the 50 eligible occupation.
The chances are bright as one NOC would entertain 1000 application so use this link go through it and apply asap.

Can you make me clear. If Experience outside Canada accepted, then how He has to get assessment for his experience. I know- we need to asses the Education also. right?

Experience from anywhere in the world will do. But have to prove that with a reference letter from HR/ supervisor of the company with duties and responsibility described.

i concur with zstream ... you need to provide experience letters pay stubs contract if any etc

First start with WES
Second IELTS
Then POF for two people its 1100 CAD
all companies experience letter, merit letter bonus letter salary slips experience letter resignation letter or service letter business cards from peers or manager
Birth certificates (You and Spouse)
Marriage Certificate
Demand Draft
PCC

Any assistance about Academic Credential Assessment, Qualification Assessment plz! Which one is better to go for?

Hi,

I've recently sent my application and I used WES (in March of this year). I found them very easy to deal with and my ECA reports came within the time they specified.

As for total cost, my application is just for me and I have calculated it has cost so far of £740 (British Pounds) with all the visa fees, IELTS test, WES evaluation, Police Certificate, photos and courier charges. Processing fees are dependent on how many people the application includes.

Then if my application is accepted, I'm anticipating another £700 for the right of permanent residency fee and medical etc. I'm estimating a total around £1500 GBP for me.
