Soft landing experiences - please share here

Hi all,

I plan to do my soft landing in February 2019 and return in about 7 days to the US. I will be making my permanent move to Canada in the later half of the year.

Was wondering if any people who have successfully done soft landings can share their experiences. Were you asked questions about why you plan to return so soon? Or were you not asked questions about your return dates at all?

Also, did you have your PR cards mailed to a friend/relatives' address in Canada?

Landed in December at Niagara falls rainbow Bridge. Everything went well. Gave my friend's adress for pr card since I plan to move to different place. It is going to be regular post envelop so u do not have to live at this address even immigr officer said different but he followed his instrustions. All my friends received just reg envelope.
