Social Workers 4152, Applied already/going to apply!

Dear all,

My status is now Received by Visa Office.

Inside note is as follows:

"We received your application for permanent residence on June 10, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on August 10, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

I checked my status today after 4-Sep-2011. So I'm not sure about the exact date of status change. We can assume it as 7-Sep-2011.

My address is also disappeared

I sent my applicatin package on 20th August to CIO Sydney Nova Scotia Canada and my courier confirmed that it had reached on 25th Augsut. When i can expect first response from them. Waht are these different terms BRVO and other i read here in the forum but could not understand. please guide me on the process ahead.

looking at the trend u should expect by 20-25th october.n RBVO mean Received by Visa office. it means that file has been forwarded for further processing to specific visa office.

Hi, nobody knows what duties you have performed and what your role is but the reference letter should be somethig like this on company letter head. It should also reflect the social work duties mentioned in the link below:

Mr. Darkbd has been employed with X Company as a XXX from ----- till date. X Company is (what does the the company do?). He works xx hours per week and earns xx per annum. Under his role, Mr Darkbd performs the following duties:

I wanted to clarify two things :


My current status is RBVO, and it says :

We received your application for permanent residence on May 15, 2011.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on June 29, 2011. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.


1. Will I be getting my second AOR / PER aswell?
2. Will my status be changed to IN PROCESS after another PER ??
3. will the second PER be followed by Medical request (if successful) ?

Zeem I think it depends on your VO on whether they will send you a 2nd AOR. For example I remember reading somewhere that London VO doesn't send 2nd AOR and it just goes from RBVO to in process. Can't find a link to support this but I remember reading it on the forum a few weeks ago. After going in process and no additional document request (or the docs have been recevied by VO) then I think the next step is medical request. Good luck all.

1- according to new guide we need to send all documents except medical to Sydney address?
2- who will decide which visa office is for me ( I live in London ) do I have a choice ?
3- are there any specific guide lines according to VO?

Congratulation Tasneem and address disappear is normal as everyone's address disappeared when their status change. So no worries and keep your finger crossed.
