Dear Amir,

As Mandie has already said, you are lucky that ur case is progressing.... So congrats for that.

I would contact them replying their email, addressing both of these concerns..

1- File #. is changed once it reaches the VO, but u dont have anything to lose in counter checking with VO.
2- Its strange that thay called u Abudhabi for Interview, coz they can easily conduct it in ISB.

Anyways its a good sign, be prepared, and request VO to re-schedule interview in ISB.

Yes it is strange but still as you said i feel lucky atleast that i have been called atleast and my file is moving. I am not changing my location as by changing interview scedule could send me to a backlog again. This must be set because of the priority to the MI3 cases. You guys dont need to worry about your cases as MI2 will also be dealt in the same year.

They have asked me for all the original documents and PCC to bring along with my spouse. Just need your prayers now.

Is there any post of applicants from other social sciences fields? (anthropology, sociology...?)
I'm a journalist with a master's degree in anthropology... I've submitted a QSW application but I still wonder if it's recommendable to obtain another academical degree (such as a PhD) or more professional experience, in order to get a job in my field. I currently work as an assistant lecturer on anthropology in my local university. I'd love to continue my academical career but I understand it's quite challenging to start working in a university. Any similar experience?

After almost 5 months, I got ditto copy of GCMS the one I got last time in April, 2012. No difference. Status of All Assessments Are "NOT STARTED".

I am wondering the pririorty of the Visa offices, how come the people (MI2) applied after got In Process before the people (MI2) applied earlier??? :-\ :-\

i am near about to finish 23 months since applied my fsw noc 4152. but i am still waiting for MR.

Applied on oct-2010,1st Aor-feb-2011, NDVO called at work on jul-2011, In process dec-2011.
in GCMS maximum due date was Apr-2012, i did CSE (sent email to NDVO) 4 times since inprocess but they replied all the time waiting for review so we can not give you the specific time ......

what to do now please reply.
