@ shastaz, I am most certain everyone deserves to be happy, but it seems you are very dependant on government money and services, for which I pay taxes for. I also have a son with a disability, and is in a special program, and I am not entitled to any benefits for him, I also have a child who had a stroke at the age of 2 and also has continuing special health problems, and I also dont recieve any benefits, and I am low income enough to qualify for housing, however I choose to have my family live in a slightly better environment, plus I dont need the government poking around in my business. I have never seen ppl with legitimate benefits surviving alone on assistance able to save that much money unless they were milking and playing the system. I dont mean to offend you, but I work extremely hard, and have had to struggle especially with trying to sponsor my husband, without the help of any free money. I think it is a bit unfair. I am only voicing my opinion since you put all your business out there.

I agree. Something is wrong with this picture. Immigration loans are only for refugees from what I understand and I have lived in many provinces and are familiar with the disability policies and to have saved 10,000 dollars does not sound Kosher. To each his/her own. I believe in Karma

Ok, well it is out there in an open thread, so it is for all of us to see. I live in Ontario, and it is not my choice to work, it is required. I cannot collect welfare for myself or my child and sponsor my husband, it is illegal. Even before I was married, I chose to work instead of collecting a cheques because it is more beneficial for me to work. I choose not to play on my sons disability and collect money. I dont know even working people that save 10,000 a year!!! It just seems that this picture is all wrong, and when you put it out there in a public forum we are all able to voice our opinion, and my tax dollars fund your welfare cheques. Trust me, I am not knocking your hustle, I just think that if you choose to collect welfare, then it is unfair for you to be allowed to sponsor anyone, or save all that money that is meant for day to day needs and essentials only. You havent offended me at all, just stating my opinion.

point of correcton welfare on a severe limited capacity for employment quebec its legal and u can sponsor someone sons disability i,ve arranged his future n he needs a father i need a husband fortunately the cic agreed YESS I CAN SPONSOR.

as long as u have covered ur base legally then go ahead but remember this process there is a lot of digging and if they find out they will deny u but since u have called and check all is left is for u to get married and start the application

I was just saying its good that u got the law on your side so u can sponsor ur hubby so he can come and help out just a note there are a few people that are being sponsored by spouses with disbality and they got denied so when u prepare ur application please ensure u really address that bcuz the government will think ur hubby is using u to come to canada nad he will leave u when he comes this will save u headache in the future so as i said ask a lot of questions so u can have a strong application

thats true i will note that an d im gonna find out lots fr surebecause this things happens all the time im a spender too trust me but this year i,ve tried iw as in africa last year so this year im goin with ma son ur know mhhhh the fares lol ok thanks i will try to get more information an thanks alot. fr sure wat im not sure or dont know will ask u n every member in this forum coz we r here to help each other thanks.
