You can find a check list on vfs-canada. They have clearly mentioned to include photocopy of all notarized marksheets.
For which course/ where have you applied?

Here they have mentioned to include required documents.....and just photocopy is not at all valid or genuine, so it must be notarized.
If it is not so late then you can resubmit them as a additional documents with same file number. But please ask advice of seniors regarding resubmission.
Btw for which colg have you applied? SPP or general?
