Hi. So to those plannining their trips you all must have received the same shock as me as to how every airline seems to be fully booked or over priced to go to Toronto! I think I have found a cheap BA flight for myself. So my journey will be like Harare>Johannesburg>London Heathrow>Toronto.

Just to confirm, since my layover in London is 4 hours and is in Terminal 5 - which is where I arrive also, I won't have to apply for a transit visa as indeed I do have a valid Canadian visa, luggage checked all the way to Toronto and other documents such as my acceptance letter to a Canadian uni etc?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You don't need a transit visa for upto 8 hours stay anywhere in Europe. So don't worry!

u need visa if ur transiting through US

u also need schengen visa is traveling between two schengen countries e.g. delhi - Paris - Amsterdam - ottawa. this is for Indian citizens

No, this doesn't apply for USA. You have to get transit visa worth 160$ to get a transit visa.
