Anyone aware if we can smoke at the transit stops emirates, qatar, dohar and Toronto airport and also in the hotel rooms.

All the airports have designated space for smoking, you just gotta ask/look around and same goes for hotel rooms as you are provided with an ashtray.
PS: talking about tobacco only

Cool But not all airports. Dubai airprot has closed smoking room and when I travelled lastt month, they asked exorbidant price 150 Dirham or Dollar, to get inside the room.
