Guys query related to medical
I have got invitation in express entry. After medical I come to know that my wife has a small 5.5 mm peri membranous defect seen in interventricular septum with flow from left to right ( in simple there is a hole in her heart ) Dear members there are 2 questions
1. Would there be any rejection if i submit my file like this ?
2. If there would be then should i operate first or can i submit my file and then time to time update immigration about operation status ?

Someone with similar situation...?

Hole in heart cases even small go to medical unit of ircc....
They do their analysis and give u a result on basis that will ur wife become a burden on canadian medical system

She is 30 years old and dnt feel any problem since chilhood thats why we wanna avoid but if mandatory for immigration purpose then we dont have option other than operate

He thinks it is caused by a small hole in the heart, but we won't know for sure until after the echo with bubbles is done. I'm scheduling it tomorrow. He did say in most cases no fix is needed, so I'm hoping it doesn't cause rejection.

She is fine.operation done. In echo it looks like the hole was 5.5 mm but when surgery done dr told me that it was more than 8 mm.operation done ( open heart surgery ) 3 months ago and now she is normal

Great to hear she's ok. Wow from what I was reading many holes can be fixes by catheter method, but sometimes surgery is needed. It's good she got it fixed though. Are her medicals now cleared? Or are you still waiting?
