Hello everyone!
I realized a few days ago that the amount on the T4 I sent to CIC is different from my NoA (it's a $1500 difference: the T4 has a amount less high than my NoA).
I had to fill a complain to the CRA to be recognized as employed by my former employer. He then gave me my T4 for 2012, 2013 and 2014, but the amounts were incorrect. Then the lady at the CRA had to tell them to write the correct salary according to my pay stubs.
It took months to have my taxes reassessed: CIC asked for my T4 and NoA in June, sent the T4 in August with an explanative letter. Got my NoA in November, sent them straight away to CIC.
The thing is: as my boss never sent my T4 to CRA they had to reissue a correct one, that I received a few days ago. Now, the amount on my T4 is $1500 higher than the one I sent to CIC.
I already sent so many papers, letters and everything to CIC, should I send the new and definitive T4 for such a little difference? I'm afraid they might ask a lot of questions, and call my boss (which would be disastrous).
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
