Slight mismatch in gic address

Hello,
My address is 5-4-7/2, plot 73, Kukatpally , Hyderabad in gic account.

But in the tt copy i recieved from my bank.
They put the address as this ehile transferring the amount.

Address : 5 4 7 2 , plot 73, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.


Will this make any difference and funds ewil he refunded?

U might want to check with the recipient bank in Canada. If it's Scotia Bank.. call them. Ask them if u send email with passport copy will it be okay

Yes, the address in the bank matches with the passport address .

But the agent while entering beneficiary address while transferring the money put the address as :

5 4 7 2 , plot 73, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.


Where as in passort and in the application ehile i opened my gic it is as :
5-4-7/2, plot 73, Kukatpally , Hyderabad

PLS double check with THE BANK WHERE YOU OPENED GIC

In my case they asked me to send scanned copies. Why wait for rejection

That's Scotia Bank GIC direct helpline. Check their GIC pdf for timings.

I understand you are worried but If u tell them clearly then it may help a bounce back

I have the same issue. But the issue is that while registering for my Gic account I was not able to enter the full address(as per the passport) in the address as it exceeded the space limit. So I had to remove my flat no and I entered the address
as
DR SHREENIVAS APTT BUDHMARG BANDAR BAGICHA PS-KOTWALI PATNA 800001 BIHAR INDIA.
And I mentioned the same Beneficiary address in the A2 form making payment.
But the bank agent wrote my passport address as my beneficiary address while doing outward remittance. My passport address is
FLATNO 402 DR SHREENIVAS APTT BUDHMARG BANDAR BAGICHA PS-KOTWALI PATNA 800001 BIHAR INDIA. So will Scotia Bank accept my payment??
