Hello everyone,
I am wondering whether you know of any websites that gives detailed information regarding which skills/professions are in demand in Canada, and where. I know that in the case of Australia, there is a website that is so detailed as to list the number of jobs available, and then number of jobs filled, relative to a specific profession and the national quota. It really gives you a great idea of your chances of getting a job.

I know that the CIC has a skills shortage list (aka all 0,A,B professions), but I am hoping for something more detailed. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Ever since Express Entry, immigration is no longer tied to specific NOC codes.

You can have a look at the year end report about EE to see which NOC received most invitations here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/reports/ee-year-end-2015.asp

You could also have a look at the PNP programs for the provinces as some of them list in demand NOC occupations in that province.

Thats probably the best you can do, as far as specific NOC go.

You're looking for employment statistics for the country, right?
I believe the Job Bank, where we all need to register to proceed with our PR application, is actually the resource you're looking for.

Also, there should be industry-specific annual reports created maybe by the relevant regulating bodies, or something. I can only assume you'll have to use advanced google-fu to find those.
