Once you are in the federal stage, don't forget to register for free pre-arrival services funded by IRCC. It is not mandatory but it will help you prepare to look for work and regarding settlement aspects like enrolling your children in school, looking for daycare, getting a health card and a SIN number, etc. For settlement information, you can register at www.ic-pac.com for information in English, French, Spanish or Tagalog. For employment, let me know if you would like any recommendations and I will give you the names of pre-arrival organizations providing employment preparation.

The new Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream will be in effect starting November this year, that’s why you haven’t got more points by February. As per now, the old stream is still valid (6 months on whichever NOC).

Hi Guys,

My job title is in Manitoba “In Demand” list and I have generated my EOI but I haven’t received points for being in, In Demand List.
I just got a form in which it is stating that I am eligible for the MPNP.
I haven’t created my Express Entry profile because am waiting for my degrees evaluated and celpip result.
