skilled worker immigration application - april 12 2010

Dear All,

I have applied for immigration as a skilled workker to Canada and i have submitted all necssary supporting documents and expecting to be assessed for final decision. but i was recently asked to submit my bank statements again and also academic transcripts( primary to university) for my spouse and i.

Can any body advice why?

Fund is one of the vita issues in immigration criteria and the fund is changeable. So, they may require again and again. Did you not send the transcripts before? They should be in university sealed envelope. If you delivered earlier perfectly, they might not require them again usually.

Its a good sign indeed. They will work on your file and that's why they have asked you to send updated ones. Best of luck!

yes i sent the certificates initially and not the transcripts.
i have gotten the bank statements and universities transcripts (bsc and msc) now but its difficult getting the primary and secondary transcript considering the fact that its over 25yrs now.
What do u think i should do?

For secondary and higher sec, just send mark sheets' notarized copy. For graduation and post graduation of you and your spouse, transcripts must be in univ sealed envelope.

I do not know where you are from. I am from Bangladesh. Its possible to collect mark sheet of secondary and higher secondary from education board. Actually it depends on education system of the country you are from. Basically primary mark sheet &/or certificate is not required. But certificate and mark sheet of secondary (class X) & higher secondary (class XII) are required. Don't you have education board for secondary &/or higher secondary? Are those not recognized degrees under any institution? If yes, then it is possible to collect. If it is not possible to collect the secondary level certificate by any how , send the universities' transcripts. You must explain in detail in a cover letter to VO why you are not able to collect along with your educational system, if any. Mind it, different countries, different educational systems. The Visa officer might not be knowledgeable about your system. In cover letter, write your name, file number, date of birth, Passport number and so on. Best of luck!!

Thanks, at first, for your good wishes.

You will find my updates in my profile info. However, I am writing a few below:
My application is currently In Process but with RBVO details i.e it is not exactly In Process status. I am waiting for MR. A few days back, I along with many applicants of pre june are advised to send updates by VO. I did so and waiting now to hear from VO. Again my best wishes for you, friend.
