Express Entry through Skilled Trades program is the easiest way. For skilled trade like carpentry, the minimum requirements you must meet to be eligible are as follows;

  • Plan to live outside the province of Quebec (Note: The province of Quebec selects its own skilled workers. If you plan on living in Quebec, you have to check their own website for their requirements
  • Meet the required levels in English or French for each language ability (speaking, reading, writing and listening) You must take the required language test.
  • Have at least 2 years of full-time work experience in a skilled trade within the 5 years before you apply
  • Meet the job requirements for that skilled trade, as set out in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) of your primary occupation, except for needing a certificate of qualification
  • Have an offer of full-time employment in Canada for a total period of at least 1 year or a certificate of qualification in that skilled trade issued by a Canadian provincial, territorial or federal authority.
You can find the details of the above at this link, https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/become-candidate/eligibility/skilled-trades.html
