Skill Transferability factors vs CEC

Good afternoon
I have one question. If i apply under Canadian Experience Class, can i get points from skill transferability factors for foreign work experience?
My question is because i will complete just 1 year of CEC, but i have much more years of foreign experience. For example, i can get 50 points from FWE & Language (CLB 9+), but if FWE is not considered because the application is for CEC, i will get only 25 points for FWE & CWE or 25 for Education & CWE.

Applying via express entry is a 2-stage process, you have to meet both Express Entry requirements AND the requirements of one of the programs (FSW, CEC, FST) - and you're mixing up the stages.

First - you submit an expression of interest (express entry profile), where a Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) is calculated for the purpose of selection under the Express Entry draw system.

Second - if you meet the CRS threshold for a draw, you will receive an invitation to apply - this invitation will tell you which program to apply to. If you are eligible for more than one (e.g. both CEC and FSW), CEC is now the default program for which you will receive an invitation.

Strategically, the first thing you need to do is create a profile that will have a high enough CRS score to earn an invitation. So you CAN include foreign work experience for that purpose, even if you expect to apply for CEC. However, keep in mind, you will have to provide proof of qualifications for everything that earns you points...

thank you very much. Actually, i have enough points to fulfill FSW, and also 1 year of canadian experience so i also fulfill CEC. However, i can't still get more than 410 points of CRC, so i can't apply yet into express entry. I was planning to apply and get the invitation from Ontario under the human core program, but they just close it. To reach 450 CRC points, i will need to increase my years of canadian experience.

Yeah, that's bad luck, but it will re-open eventually, hang in there!
