Hi
Me and my family live in Canada as a landed immigrant. my husband's nephew wants to apply as a skilled category. He is a bachelor of Pharmacy graduate and has one year experience as a Pharmacy manager and his point assesment is 68. Do u think he can apply for skilled migration and how long could be for processing time?

He can apply, but without a work permit or an Approved Employment Option, he will be refused as pharmacists are not on the list of "38" http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/media/backgrounders/2008/2008-11-28a.asp Unless he can convince CHC/CIC he that he is a health care manager.

I agree with PMM. if the occupation is not present in the 38 list, there is no point in applying in the skilled worker category.

I think, he can apply under health care manager. Bcoz pharmacy manager can be considerd as a health care manager
