Sister Visitor Visa Refused

Hi there,

I am a Canadian Citizen who applied for my sister's visitor visa for my marriage to a Canadian citizen in October. The visa was rejected, and the reason given are as follows:

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/ section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:

• Your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel for yourself (and any accompanying family member(s), if applicable).
• The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application.

My sister is 25 and Single. I submitted my account information with 20K CAD in savings, my NOA, my sister's employment letter and invitation letter stating she will be living with me, and I will make sure she leaves after the end of stay. My parents have supervisa and they were selected for the parents/grandparents PR lottery.

I have requested the GCMS notes. Please help.

Your account doesn't do any good to your sister process. She needs to submit her own proof of funds.

And try to align her purpose of the visit and how long she is going to stay.
