Thank you Hope. I am now preparing all the necessary documents so that I can submit my applications the soonest possible time. With regards to the fees, it says there in guidelines that the fee for temporary work visa is 150 canadian dollars per person. In my application, my wife and my son is included and declared as my dependent. Does it mean I need to attach 450 for the three of us? or just 150 since we are all under the same application? I just need confirmation just to make sure. Thanks again.

on their site, it says it takes 4 month for SINP skilled workers, but it seems like its taking 8 months.

got nomination on 14 march 2011

I THINK that only you and your wife will pay if the child its a minor, but check on CIC site or call then. Also, this fee is only for TWP are you not applying for both at the same time? In that case you pay both fees plus at the end another fee for the right of residency.

Yes, you are right. Since my son is a minor I only need to pay for me and my wife. Same thing with my PR application. I need to pay 550 each for me and my wife and another 150 for my dependent child. Then later on, I need to pay 490 each for me and my wife for the right of residency. Im still gathering all my necessary documents, hopefully next week I can finalize my application and submit it to CIC. Again,thank you.

hello guys. I already applied for my temporary work permit visa last april 11, 2011 through a courier. a day after that i received a call from a call center agent from the embassy informing me that i need to have a separate (TWP) application package for my wife although she is my dependent. furthermore, i need to apply a study permit for my son since my son is in studying age. the courier pick-up my application package last april 14, 2011. Also on the 12th of april, i submitted my permanent resident visa application. I just hope everything will be okay.....
