Hi Ashu and group members

I have claimed points for 10 yrs work exp. The reference letters I have is on plain A4 paper from my colleagues in the respective organisations with their business card....will this suffice as proof of experience. Along with the reference letters I will also submit my offer letters and pay slips.

I got the invitation for SINP express entry and wanted to know on IMM008 form what i should selected under *Category under which you are applying"

Should i select "Skilled worker" or "Province Nominee".

As per my understanding Skilled worker is more suitable as the other options say Nominee and i haven't got the nomination yet.

any advise?

Why not? High demanding NOC it is.

You can choose anyone. But I had chosen "International Skilled Worker".

Point score is very good. But they don't need Civil Engineers related people nowadays.

Hi Anshu, please help me out. I have 5.5 years wirk experience in NOC 0114 ie from Feb 2014 till date. My total work experience is 10 years, however the previous years experience (prior to Feb 2014 i.e. between October 2009 to Feb 2014) is not related to NOC 0114. Do I need to provide the work experience letters for the 2009-2014 though it is not related to NOC 0114? My previous employer will not issue an experience letter so I am hoping that I can skip it. Please let me know. Thanks in advance.

You won't get points for your 4 yeats of job experience, if you don't have Reference letters.
How many points did you claim for Job experience in EOI?
What was your Pounts score in SINP POINTS assessment grid?
SINP can disqualify you now.

I chose 10 points for five years prior to application and 5 points for five years during the 6-10 years period prior to application. So my understanding is that since I have experience in NOC 0114 between Feb 2014 till date, I am eligible for both the above points. Please let me know if I selected wrong.

Why?
You will get only 10 points for job experience, only related to NOC 0114.
How can you claim other NOC job experience points?

My interpretation of the 6-10 year period was 2014-2019 and not prior to that. Please let me know if I was wrong. Also, if I get experience letter from my previous employer 2009-14 and also my offer letter, will that be enough. It was a small company with less than 50 employees, so we did not get PF and salary used to be paid by cheque. I do not have any form 16 also. Please let me know, I am in total panic mode. Thanks
