SINP OID - Work Exprerience eligibility.

Hello,

Can can someone please help me understand the eligibility requirement for SINP OID category. The SINP website says the below:

Have at least one-year work experience in the past 10 years:

• In your field of education or training occupation, and
• In a high skilled occupation in the National Occupational Classification (NOC) Matrix level "A", "B" or "0" that’s in-demand in Saskatchewan.

Does it means that I need to have the work experience in the same field as my education? Or the work experience can be in any field as long as that field is in demand list?

I am asking because, my education is in "Business Administration" major but I got work experience matching to NOC 2171.

Please help!

I think NOC 1225 is better for you, it is in the list. Make some changes in your Job Reference Letter duties according to this.
Yes, you have to need work experience related to your education and that should also be in the list of Occupation in High demand list (Now has 21 occupations and applicable same for EE and OID)
Yes, keep in mind, SINP never provide nomination in favour of any Non computer educated for Computer related NOC.
NOC 2171 only for computer engineers. SINP writes, but it does not apply

I see that NOC 1225 requires Business Administration degree which I have. So can I apply under NOC 1225 coupled with requisite experience letters for NOC 1225 when SINP OID opens?

Yes, be careful about related Job duties. Have to match 70-80% duties with their given duties. You have to keep your application ready for submit. Because the intake is running too fast, you will only have to time for recheck and push Submit.

Also I see that NOC 1224 does not explicitly mentions any specialized qualification but mere completion of secondary school. Can I apply under this NOC too?

Right straightforward, if demand for education has been reduced, the long experience will show.
Look at these 2 main qualification points :-
1. Completion of training courses or a vocational program in property or strata management or real estate may be required.
2. Several years of administrative experience as a property clerk, contract clerk, or administrative officer are usually required.
Answers :-
1. You have to enclose On Job Training Certificate for 2 years (can be in the same company, starting 2 years of your job) to fulfill this condition.
2. That's why I was saying rear type. You have to show about 8-10 years of work experience.
Remember :- SINP is very strict, and directly dismiss application in case of any doubt.

I think no. NOC 2232 is suitable for you from the list .

I need you help in calculating my initial assessment score for SINP OID category, what I understand that if you score 60 / 100 only than you are eligible to apply.
I have done my 2 years university degree (B-Com) from University of Karachi, need to know if I will have score of 20 or only 15? (Since on SINP website it states “University degree at least three years”).
My ECA states Canadian equivalency as “Diploma 2 years”
Secondly regarding work experience I have continuous 8 years’ experience in NOC 1225 so would I get score of 10 or any additional points as mentioned on SINP website additional points 6-10 years which is a bit confusing to me.
Kindly need your expertise to clarify my doubts.

Now NOC 1225 is not present in the SINP occupation demand list. Only NOC 1122 is there which is suitable with your education.
You can get 13 points for Job experience in points assessment grid.

Education and experience must match intended NOC. Otherwise the application will be rejected.
