Hi Expert..

I Just want to confirm, We need to wait for 4.4 months before we can know if we are nominated of not?
then if afterwards for CIC stage we need to wait again for 15 months for the processing?

I got this timeframe in SK website and CIC website.

Hope someone can enlighten me!

It should be 2-6 months to get a nomination.
With CIC they say its 15 months, however, I have seen many who get it in like 6 months or so, so it all depends.
We can conclude the whole timeline being 8 months to 1.5 Year as a whole including nomination.

Waiting for other replies too..

@ Saska, you are right, it may take upto 15 months with CIC. One of my friends got his in 9 months with the paper application and the other 6+ months with express entry.

Also, with SINP no one really knows. Let's wait until they update their average processing time come July 1st (it says on their website, they do after 3 months - 4.4 months is the average for Jan - March 2016)

@saska and @7fifty

Thanks for your insight.. :)
Lets hope for the best in our applications! :)

Any progress on your application, please post here! :D

Thanks a lot!

Yes, they confirmed, Now status is application received. Whats yours?

I suppose we just get an automated message from immigration.documents@sask id that we have received your mail...

did they confirm that they have received your updated documents in a separate mail?

Hi all,

How long usually it take for the application to move to next step after being "in process"? and what is the next step?

Thanks,
Osama

It's unpredictable, but in OID don't expect a further action before 2 months after being in an "early In-process" stage. The next step would be a rejection,a new document request.

Best of luck for all of us

Do you have any idea when will they reopen for new applications? I have four + years of experience in occupations in demand (Computer and Informations Systems) and two years experience from past 6 to 10 years in an occupations (Computer engineer except Software engineers) which is not in demand for saskatchewan. Will I be qualified?

calculate your points with 4 years experience, if you get 60 out of 100, then you're ok.

Thanks Saska, so we will wait for at least two month before we will hear from them?! should we check our application status from time to time or next action must be communicated via mail?

Check your email daily, Oasis every 2 or 3 days will be enough.
If they request anything further they give you 45 days to send it, so don't worry about that.
The fact that we are curious so much about our cases there, will make us check many times a day.. :)

Good luck!

With four years experience, I scored 59 points but if I calculate it with the last two years experience, I get 61 points. Will my application be considered?
