SINP - NOC 2171 - Information systems analysts and consultants

Hi,

I am in same situation,

I have done my B Com and MBA in Finance and i am working as Business analyst since last 9 yrs.

Can i apply for Noc 2171 in SINP?

will they accept it with my education and work being different fields

Yes, it is acceptable.

Bachelor's degree is the minimum qualification, higher degree is always accepted.
In addition, have you got Master's degree approval in your ECA report. Generally they don't accept as Master degree in ECA.

As per SINP your education and work experience should be in line else they won’t accept it.

Go with Bachelor's degree.
You wil still get Master's education points.
Both are different things.

But in application I elected bachelor which makes 67 points how will I get the Master point then

If am not able to get reference letter from HR in company letter head, what are the other options.

A colleague probably of a senior/higher rank can write you a letter. It is safer to accompany it with an affidavit/explanatory letter explaining the circumstances that necessitated you to have the person do the letter and not HR.

Hello everyone! I have same scenario, current eork is Business analyst 2171 but the education is industrial Engineering. I am still waiting for any reply about this scenario. I hope they will enlighten us. Im waiting for answers from Saskatchewan Immigration.

I am pretty much in the same dilemma, I have bachelors in Electrical Engineering and Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology. However, I have 4+ years of work experience as Business Analyst, whose job role aligns with 2171. I am confused whether NOC 2171 is the best for me?

Does NOC 2171 need license (APEGS) for an engineering degree holder? Because one of my friend was saying that any engineer must be part of APEGS in Saskachewan.
