U can contact SINP, many candidates files are trasfered to PIU, after the submission of adr

According to my friend, if I would inquire about file status to SINP, then it would create negative impact.

Submitted: January 1, 2018 (NOC 0124)
Status In process: January 23, 2018
Submitted renewed passport: January 31, 2018
ADR Received: February 1, 2018 (Updated POF, work experience justification, reference letter, renewed passport)
ADR Responded: February 19, 2018 - Received auto acknowledgement
Status In Process: February 20, 2018 till date
New CIC EE profile details submitted on August 15, 2018.

Hi My file was received on 15th Nov 2017 at NovaScotia Sydeny office and processing started on 18th January 2018. its SINP-OID... since then no response... status says IN PROCESS... don't understand how long will it take.... anyone can help me to figure out time?
