Hello limejuice, what if we could maintain proof of funds just 2 months before submission of SINP application, and would there be a problem if we applied and have no any proof of funds?

Hi. :)

SINP is very strict with this requirement, proof of funds.
You need to maintain the money for 3 months before submission and until at CIC stage.
I guess it is safe to withdraw the money after PPR.
CIC will going to check it as well later after nomination for verification and will ask for 6mos bank history (based on what I have read in many threads). It is one of the main reasons of rejection for many applicants.
So better follow what SINP requires so your application and time would not be wasted.

both your cases (especially second - "no proof of funds" at all) will be a problem. Sask is very strict about this.

Thanks a lot rzvzl, hope I could maintain that before next opening?

And, do you guys have any idea if anyone of applicants have got any job offer from Sask rather than nomination, what are the chances for that?

Thanks for your help

Yes, of course. :)
Convert your fund your local currency to CAD so you would have its equivalent value.
Just a note, foreign exchange fluctuates a lot so it is best to have margin or add at least CAD500 - 1000 to be safer. Do not just put the exact amount. (the greater the margin, the safer). Sometimes, it can cause problem after some period of time when the conversion against your local currency and CAD has a new high. Consequently, your funds will be insufficient and that is not good. Anyway, this is just an advice. It is still up to you if you wanna add up your funds some more that it requires. Hope this helps. :)

Hi strawberry11, :)

Welcome to this forum, kabayan. :) I think it would be better if you post your questions in English so other readers will understand. ;)

You seemed to be "in process" earlier than other applicants. you might as well get nomination earlier if SINP is satisfied with your application. According to their website,SINP EE will take 2.2 months (about 66days) to process an application (this is just an average).

Have they asked you for additional documents lately? You may want to add your info through the link below and view other applicants' timelines too. Thanks! :D

I am 5th Jan SINP applicant and my application status got changed to "IN Process" on 14 APR, 2016. My query is, when i have applied for SINP, i have shown $16,5XX as fund for both my self and my wife. In the mean time CIC increased the settlement fund a bit and conversion is also getting costly as well.

Right at this moment: I have $155XX in my account as time based fixed deposit where requirement is $15,143. Still I am having few hundred dollar extra then what they ask for. Unfortunately, conversion is getting costly every day. If they have delayed the fund conversion then i may leg few hundred dollar in worst case. Do they allow this gap?

My wife have around 6500 dollar in her account since 2015 which is actually Time base bond for a year. I can easily show this to SINP at any point of time.

Now my query is shall i send SINP an email including my wife owned bond to makeover few hundred dollar gap or SINP will inform me regarding the gap (if any) and ask me to provide any relevant document regarding this.

Thanks in Advance

Good luck,

What did you mean by "funds converserion"??

Thanks

it is the conversion of you POF to current rate. you can check it if they already converted it by going to your OASIS/ SINP profile in "View Submitted Application" section then click "Settlement Funds" tab. From there, you would be able to see the amount and date of conversion. hope this helps. :)
