To be on a safer side, if you havent submitted the final application, you can resit for IELTS and submit new score, also if time permits.
Even if my spouse resit for IELTS, how to update the new test scores in Express Entry application, as it is already locked and not allowing me to make any changes?? Is it that after pressing 'continue the application' the locked application opens up for updating??

may be this will be helpful to all for analysis :)

Does anyone know if when checking for work experience they will check company website for your profile, LinkedIn etc.?

Hi ,

Hi..
I want to apply for SINP..
I got WES done.

stating:

CANADIAN EQUIVALENCY SUMMARY

Two bachelor's degrees (four years) and postgraduate diploma (one
year)

Will this be counted in masters or any other category?? please suggest.

obviously, YES!

You need to prove funds that have been in your possession for >=3 month, AT THE TIME OF THE APPLICATION, not when you express interest.

Hi please does that means that after getting ITA there is a space of 3months for one to gather all documents and start application? Thanks

Hi guys, I received an invitation from SINP in Nov 28 draw. I have claimed points for 10 years. However the company I worked between 2009-11 is no longer in existence. It has been bought by another company and this can be easily googled. I was a full time retainer with them and have my offer letter and relieving letter, bank statements showing deposit of compensation and also Form 26AS where they have deposited my tax deduction. I had taken a letter from them in 2011 when the news on their takeover was floating, it briefly talks about my role, full time status and also compensation. I wrote to their current HR with this letter attached asking them to issue a current dated letter but she replied that since the earlier company is no longer in existence, she can only confirm on email on my tenure and compensation and nothing else. Will this work? I can get another letter from an old colleague from that company and get it notarized. Please let me know. Thanks

I am in a likely situation. I am claiming points for 10 years of experience but the first 1.5 years experience was from a company which is now closed. i don't have an experience letter or reference letter for that duration.

So what are you submitting? I have an experience letter mentioning the duration, full time status and brief job description which I took in 2011 to submit in my next job. All my other experience letters are almost current dated. Don't know how else to justify this. I am providing my tax certificates also as government document.

I am still looking for an answer for this otherwise I cannot claim points for the experience gained in 2009-2011.
