You can wait for the next SINP OID intake. Would most probably open next month. If your noc requires any licensure / approval, use this period to procure it.
It would be good to change/alter that JOB NOC, by trying to License. Because obtain license is a very tough and time-taking work.

Yes, you will get 20 points more for Close relative.

That's great. Give us the update about that.
Here is the reply.

Thank you for your inquiry.

NOC 2173 is a regulated profession in Saskatchewan; as such, you are required to obtain certification/licensing from the regulated body in order to be eligible for nomination from the SINP. For information on how to apply for certification, you will need to contact the provincial regulator, the Canadian Association of Information Technology Professionals (CIPS).

If you would like to submit an application for the SINP Express Entry under NOC 2173 and you do not yet have proof of professional status/licensure, you may submit the application without this proof of professional status/licensure and your application will be held for processing until such proof is provided. However, all other required documents must be included in your application or your application will be returned as incomplete and your application fee will not be refunded.

Kind regards,

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP)

Hi, I've just read from news that Saskatchewan expanded their ocupation list. My NOC is included in the demand occupation list. My question is, can i apply even not residing in Canada? . Pls advise. TIA

Hi everyone,

I found that my NOC 1122 (experience of 9 years) is in the OID list. I would like to know whether I should wait for OID to open or should I go with EE?

Why not?

For applying SINP EE, you first have to register in IRCC EE Pool. If you have already registered, must go for EE. IT is faster than OID.
Otherwise OID is not bad.
