Hi Rizwan!

What city/province do you live in? have you passed an interview?

Well, i landed in Calgary last year but due to market condition, i came back and restarted my job in Saudi Arabia. I will move back at the end of next year probably.

My brother has been selected for SINP program, so he will land and stay in saskatchewan

were the market conditions that bad that you had to leave for your home country?

My application was submitted July 21. Status still " Application received"

My language proficiency test IELTS (L6, R7, S6.5, W6)
will expire by 2nd October 2016.

I sat for another IELTS in December 2015 ( L6, R6, S5.5, W7.5)- I assume this is CLB 7 which gives me 17points (Pls correct me if am wrong)

I know that this result meets the minimum SINP language proficiency, but my worry is if CIC will accept
the result since iam having 5.5 in the speaking section.

Pls advice

Hi!

I might be wrong, but I am 99% sure that all IELTS marks should be minimum 6.

Depends, actually i had a better job here so didn't move in permanently, its personal choice totally. Many of my friends went in first attempt and they are doing good. Some got job, some started study and few doing odd jobs.

Hi there,

I have applied on July 20 and today my status changed to In process. What to expect next ?

Also, my job title is 1241 in CIC -EE but in the SINP - EE I have entered my intended occupation as 1224 which is related to some duties I have performed in my current role.

Should I change my CIC-EE occupation to match with SINP - EE but it would not relate to my job title / reference letter. Or let it be and wait for the SINP result ?

Please advise

Yes, you have to do that and change your NOC in EE profile to match SINP application.
