Hi,

I was trying to upload the birth cert of my child, so I clicked on Upload File in the document checklist, then browse then open (the pdf file). But when I click the Upload File button, I get below error message:

Validation error: You have not completed the mandatory fields or you have not completed them correctly. Please make corrections where indicated.

Error Description: You have specified an incorrect file format for your attachment. Retry with another format. The following file formats are allowed: DOC; JPG; PDF; PNG; and TIFF.

Hi guys. Pls i need clarification regarding education background. My sis has been working with her high school cert. But her point is no where near sask requirement. She's planning to upgrade herself by going for a diploma. My question is will her work experience before the diploma count or she has to start counting from after the diploma. Though she has some accounting course she did but not recognisable by wes. Thanks

Hi adexy. I think everything depends on the specific situation. I've heard the same question when immigration officers from New Brunswick came to my country. There was a girl on the session who had working experience before she got a diploma. In her case they said she couldn't count her working experience but as I understood because it wasn't in NOC 0, A or B. They didn't say No before she said her occupation. So in my opinion your sister can try, but not sure that it will work. For instance, CIC can say that if according Canadian NOC she has to have Bachelor's degree and she worked without it they can't count such experience. She should try. Anyway it won't be misrepresenting.

Try another browser instead.
I used IE, successfully uploaded the documents.
Hope this helps other applicants with the same problem.

Hi friends, What is the importance of "Nomination' in the journey of immigration? What is its percentage in this long way- like 70%, 80% or more? Please clarify.

I have got PCC from Passport office, they stamped in my passport noting eligible for Canada Visa, as well as they provide me on Ministry of External Affairs Letter head with my photograph mentioning there is no adverse report against the name................ passport No................. and he is eligible to get Visa for Canada.
But the question is - Is it sufficient? because they didn't mention my any address in PCC. And other city where I lived about 5 yrs., I don't have any Police clarification of that place. I am in confusion and hesitate to sending my Paper based Application to CIO. Thanx in advance frnds.

The Registrar Attested transscripts are fine. Else just scan and upload the originals that he has. This is sufficient for SINP. I did the same got nominated.
