I am also 18 Dec applicant my currency was converted on 26 Feb both my express entry profile and passport got expired after that but I have provided the new passport and ee number within two days still really worried why it's taking so long and people from Jan's intake have started getting nomination letter

please, share, where you've found that?

I applied for SINP - EE on 17th Dec 2015. It is "In process" since then.

My POF is not yet converted. I see the same old date as Date of conversion.

It's been three months... :( >:(

completely right. with one suggestion: I guess, the intake of EE-stream aplications started not "afterwards", but "together" with OID stream. Due to the (possible) smaller amount of candidates into EE stream, the intake of EE applications lasted two days longer.

PS: question to ashmilwaqas: what makes you think that the next intake should be opened on the 1 of April? (just curious)

Yes, you are right, rzvzl, that both, OID and EE started on the same date but EE took longer time to reach its allotted threshold/intake for Jan 2016.

well, what makes me think that the next intake should be opened on the 1 of April? It was because that on 01 April, a quarter to Jan 2016 shall pass and it's in the SINP new immigration policy that SINP shall announce its threshold/ intake on quarterly basis. That's it. This is my opinion and i may be wrong in this and do correct me if likewise...! :)

As I know, Many Jan applications are still Application Received status.

Absolutely right, Cindy, Very few Jan 2016 applicants have reported that their application status has changed to In Process. I am jan 2016 OID applicant and my application status is application received.

I have not seen any applicant of Jan 2016 on the spreadsheets and myimmitracker reporting that he received nomination...! This seems just a rumor...! :)

I think it is a kind of gossip, indeed. However, user dtuba clearly stated the word "nomination" in his post.
I'm asking him/her again - please, help us finding that info somewhere on the WEB (if that meant really "nomination", but not "in process" status).

Can you help - when exactly those new rules (with "quarterly basis" periods) were announced ?

Read the following passage on the given link...!

The table below is updated every three months. When each maximum is reached, the website will be updated immediately and no further applications will be accepted in that category.

So far i understand this passage, it means the Threshold will be updated after every 3 months. And if i am not mistaken it is updated mostly when new intake is complete after taking the applicstion!
