Hello One Topsy,

Can you please let me know where is official translation office in chandigarh, India or from where I can get it translated or from where I can get some list of official translators? Few of my certificates are not in english so, I need to get those translated in English.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Maroon

You do NOT need 3 months transactions for Fixed Deposits and folks who show Bank Savings account as proof of funds need 3 months statement. There will be no negative effect in your case

Regards

Hi Charan, does it mean that FD need not be 3 months old while submitting the application?

All the funds regardless of the nature of funds/account should be maintained for 3 months prior to the date of application submission as per your family size.

You can get it from chandighar court....you should demand translation and translator certificate also from that person

Dear Jas_Canadian,

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any contact details or any list from where I can get authenticated translator for the purpose from Chandigarh court? Thanks a lot for replying.

Best Wishes for you.

Hi folks,

I want your suggestion on my case. I am OID applicant 03 Jan Intake. I am from India and my app status is still application received.

I went to Saudi Arabia for pilgrimage for almost one month in 2007. In Supplimentary Info: Your Travel form, i mentioned "did not treval" abroad. The reason for mentioning "did not travel" is that i do not have any documentary proof of it. I mean that the passport which India issued me for the pilgrimage was temporary passport specifically issued for Pilgrimage which was valid only for the duration of Pilgrimage. My that passport was taken back by the govt. as i landed India on my return from pilgrimage. So no passport, i have no proof of travel.

While filling "Your travel" form, i thought if SINP or CIC asked me to submit the proof of it, i would not be able to prove that i ve been to Saudi Arabia and in this way, i would fall into misrepresentation and get banned.

Now i want your precious suggestion about this scenario.
1) What should i do?
2) Is it ok if i do not inform SINP about this?
3) If i inform SINP about this, can the above mentioned truth convince to SINP...!?

In confusion, please suggest! This is the second time i am posting this query for suggestion on this thread!
Thank You!
Regard!

I would suggest you to be honest with CIC and SINP all the time. If they ask proof of travel then explain the whole situation. It is not your fault of temporary passport so you shouldn't be worried about that.

Yes. It is because if in case they get to know this from their resources then they will consider it as a misrepresentation which will have a serious implication on your application and they even ban you for few years.

Hi One_Topsy

Kindly provide an expert opinion on below:

As per Feb 11th update on CIC website , Individuals who stayed a total of 6 months in other countries need to submit PCCs from respective countries. Earlier this requirement was for 6 months in a row.

In my case, I stayed in UK 3 times. Each time the duration of visa was not more than 6 months. But total stay of 3 trips is around 10 months (3+5+2). Do I need PCC from UK in this case?

Hi ,

Any body got SINP Nomination recently??
Seems to be very slow processing going on. Not hearing any nominations from last 10-15 days.

Thanks

You may need to submit as your overall stay in the UK is more than 6 months.

It is easy to get UK PCC as you can apply online and they also deliver it internationally.

Hi,

I submitted my SINP last 3 jan 2016... I have indicated there my sister as living in Saskatchewan as she has been living there for more than a year upon submission... However, she also has a residence in the US and she moved there in late Jan. My question is do I need to update anything or anyone regarding this? Or will they take the status as of 3 Jan 2016 and no need to update or inform anyone? There is currently no time table for my sister's return to SK. Please advise. Thanks.

I don't think u have to inform sinp about this
But if u are very careful then send just an email to sinp
And they will reply like "thank you for update"

Usually SINP needs to be informed with the major updates like address change, family composition etc.

Good Luck
