Hi all,

I was nominated on saturday 17th October but up till now (21 october), it is not yet reflecting on my EE profile. Am I supposed to do anything for my EE profile to be updated with my nomination?

Thank you
`

Yes, you have to accept the nomination in your EE profile, have you done so already?

Dear Friends !!

Urgent help required

I have accepted my nomination and marks also got added. But in my CIC profile in "View submitted application" there is a question called "have you received any nomination"?When I created my profile I answered "NO".But I didn't update it after receiving nomination. After accepting nomination it is not allowing to change that option to "YES".What should I do??Please answer .I am very much worried..............

Don't Worry, After receiving ITA , you would be able to change it.

I have the same case. This option is greyed, but I don't think that would be a problem as you have the points added to your profile.

My application is in In-process state.
I called SINP team yesterday to find out, when are they going to set the accompanying dependent to YES?
They answered, they will make the changes after they start processing application.

from the looks of it, many applicants are experiencing the same thing. so perhaps, CIC knows of this "issue" already.

the bigger concern though is that, has anyone figured out why some applications are rejected and/or returned outright, while others are being asked for further documents?

sham,

did they tell you when they are actually starting to process the application given that you are already "In Process" stage?

I think it has to do with primary and secondary documents. If any of the primary document is missing like IELTS score sheet, bank statement, qualification etc then SINP rejects the application without asking request for missing documents.

If any secondary document missing like federal form or further information is required in relation of the docs already submitted then SINP ask for missing/additional info.

This is just my assumption only which may not be 100% correct.

i applied on 26th june and it still show application received..more than 3 months.

anyone in same boat?id not get any document request...bit worried :-[

Generally they answer: I am not the person processing the application. so no idea.

Hello Nebs,
Congrats on your nomination. You have to accept the nomination on your "mycic" account before it can be active.

I have sent you a PM, please check your inbox.

Is there any change in the immigration process with new election results in CANADA?

http://www.cicnews.com/2015/10/canadian-immigration-liberals-win-election-106361.html
says,
The Liberal platform includes a number of proposals that would likely increase the overall number of new permanent residents in Canada.
Rather than doing away with Express Entry, the Liberals have pledged to conduct a review of the system. - See more at: http://www.cicnews.com/2015/10/canadian-immigration-liberals-win-election-106361.html#sthash.cInAd7XL.dpuf

I'm wondering if there will be a pause of ITA's being issued until the new Immigration Minister is sworn into office. I have noticed that ITA's issued are worded "The Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to section 10.3 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, gives the annexed Ministerial Instructions Respecting Invitations to Apply for Permanent Residence under the Express Entry System (Date of ITA)."

Yeah, same thing here as well. Coz by right, a minister is the one issuing instruction. Why would the outgoing minister rush to issue one? He's already out anyway, what's the worst thing that can happen to him?

By the way, for you guys who already received SINP nomination, did you receive (auto) email notification from OASIS or you really had to log-in just to check everytime? How did you know?
