Good job updating the way the spreadsheet is arranged. Much easier to look at the data now.

I submitted my application on SINP and they have confirmed that they have received my application but now I noticed I have done some mistakes. Some of the documents I did not upload.
Will this affect my case, is their any way to rectify this error before it goes in processing

Pls help

Hi all!!!

I've got a question in regard to SINP and EE profile:
My NOC can be considered both 2281 (Network Administrator) and 2147 (Network Engineer). In fact, both NOCs are nearly same but 2147 is deemed as more highly qualified (and range of responsibilities of 2147 is more broad)... According to SINP Application Guide, 2147 is not present in Appendix A – SINP In-Demand Occupation List; therefore, I applied to SINP Online by indicating my occupation as 2281. At the time of application I specified my EE profile number as a part of process. In this profile there are two places where applicants can share information about their NOCs: Work History-->Occupation-->Primary Occupation and Work History-->Occupation-->Work History. As for my EE profile, I indicated Primary Occupation as 2281, but Work History is as follows - 2281 is from 2005 to 2008, and 2147 is from 2008 to 2015. But in SINP I would like to gain points for all years of my employment, so I want them to consider me as 2281 with 10 years of experience. How do you think whether SK immigrant officers have full access to information in applicants' EE profiles? And do I need to change information in my EE profile from 2147 (for 2008-2015 period of my career) to 2281?

I'm hesitating to do this a little bit because I applied to NSNP as well but with NOC 2147.

Hi, you need to keep the EE profile consistent with all PNP applications. For CIC, Network Engineer and Network Administrator are not same and so they are in two different NOC. And yes, all PNP's will have access to EE profile. If there is inconsistency in your application in EE and PNP, it will be misinterpretation and for that there is a 5 year ban. I do not know what you can do in your situation because you have applied to NSNP and SINP with different NOC's.

Hello Guys,

I am working in Cisco TAC (Technical Assistant Center) and I am a CCIE certified

which NOC suits better 2281, 2282 in 2147 ?
I studied Computer Engineering.

I really cannot decide.

I know it is technical support but hob duties in 2282 is really like a low level and not up to what we have in Cisco TAC.
2281 is good but my Hob Title that i have in the work reference is 'Customer Support Engineer'
2147 is a Network Engineer Role but i cannot check many job duties in that category as most of them more for an ASIC and hardware design engineers.

Please help

Regards,

As I understand, guys working in immigration office have a quite general knowledge about for example programmer's or network administrator's work, and they are not aware of various details referred to these occupations. Description of NOCs on http : / / www5 . hrsdc . gc . ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/OccupationIndex . aspx only confirm my words.
That is why, I believe you'll have to choose NOC 2282 for your application even if job duities described there make you similar to an ordinary technician in some call centre.
