Nova Scotia started in January 2015 or something and had 375 or so nominations. I think it should be closed by now. Although they are still accepting documents but they are processing Jan 26 application still I read in this forum. As for Nova Scotia you need to send documents via snail mail, I would advise against applying. But thats just my opinion.abyurla said:Are you guys submitting multiple provincial nominee applications?
I'm NOC1111, i have submitted to Sask (65points), is it advisable to also still submit to say Nova Scotia (67points)?

Its given that 5 years employment should be "full-time". This will be verified when they check your work experience and will reduce the points accordingly.warsapp said:Hello Everyone
I have 5 years of part time continuous work experience (18 hrs/week) under noc 4011 in the last 5 years. It is not stated that work experience should be full time is that correct? Can I claim points for 5 years (10 points) if don't can I claim for 3 years work experience (6 points)? PLEASE I NEED AND URGENT REPLY
Can you please indicate where it is written full-time? I failed to find that word in entire application guide or elsewhere.darklord said:Its given that 5 years employment should be "full-time". This will be verified when they check your work experience and will reduce the points accordingly.
I do not know if 5 year part-time can be translated/(considered as) into 3 year full-time employment. Sorry!

Does anyone is in my situation I mean worked part time if yes and it is 2.5 years how many points you were given?
sumitdodia said:Hi,
One year full time experience= 1560 hours ( 30 hrs/week)
Your part time experience for last 5 years @ 18hrs/week= 4680 hrs
So your total full time experience =4680/1560= 3 years full time
You can gain 6 point ( 2 point for 1 year full time experience in last five years)
Also please note that part time experience is considered for a candidate not being a full time student , so please check if your were not full time student during this part time job
