SINP Employment Offer Stream Processing Time ?

I have been working in Saskatoon on an open work permit for the past 9 months. Including my current and previous jobs, I now have over 6 months of experience, both of which belong to TEER 2 and TEER 3, respectively. Since you are required to work for a single employer for 6 months to become eligible under the Saskatchewan Experience Stream, I opted for the SINP Employment Offer Stream.

However, despite the processing time being listed as 6 weeks on the SINP website, there has been no progress on my application in this time. I have also seen posts from students who applied under the SINP Student Stream, and they have been waiting for over 8 weeks, even though their processing time is supposed to be only 3 weeks.

If the process continues at this rate, I might become eligible to apply under the Saskatchewan Experience Stream. In that case, my employer would have to apply for a Job Approval Letter (JAL) again, as it is only valid for 2 months. Is there a way to extend the JAL offer?

Try emailing and calling the SINP immigration dept. regarding your JAL expiration. It's kinda hassle to ask the employer to apply for JAL again.
It seems like they are most likely prioritizing the WP expiring candidates. I am also waiting for the same stream. My WP has expired a few weeks ago, now on Visitor status at home.
In addition, the standard processing time doesn't really matter.

Can't you apply for extension of your work permit ? then you will be on implied status and during that phase you are allowed to work as far as I know or your workpermit was PGWP which can't be extended.
