As of June 6, 2017, candidates in the Express Entry pool who have a sibling in Canada may obtain additional points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Another change involves additional points being awarded to candidates with proven French ability. These improvements to Express Entry are the latest to come from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), with a more dynamic Express Entry system now the main driver of economic immigration to Canada.
Candidates in the Express Entry pool with a sibling in Canada may be awarded 15 additional CRS points if the sibling is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and at least 18 years of age. Up to 15 points only may be awarded for this factor; that is to say, candidates with more than one sibling in Canada will be awarded 15 points in total, not 15 points per sibling.

The government of Ontario, Canada’s most populated province and a magnet for immigrants the world over, has announced a new stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) known as the Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream. Successful applicants to this stream will benefit from 600 additional Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points and an Invitation to Apply (ITA) at a subsequent draw from the federal Express Entry pool.
hi guys! just wanna clear something up.. my crs score is 378 but then again i saw the sinp it only needs 60 out of 100 and i computed mine and get a score of 76. however my relatives lives in alberta, if i use sinp to get to canada, and also if i can get lucky to be nominated can i transfer to alberta right away? or i have to be Saskatchewan? can someone please enlighten me? thanks!
They stop counting after 60 points. So u don't get any advantage of 76. U can go Alberta after some time getting PR through SINP. Have to mention some reasons like can't get job and some proof of efforts .etc.
hey thanks! so helpful! read it again and they ask if my relatives are living in saskSaskatchewan and also if they are citizen.. well they are citizen obviously but they are not living in Saskatchewan anymore? wouild that affect my application? thanks!
There is no harm in telling. If they are not blood relatives then u can hide this information. Totally is up to you.
I've check my SINP profile, my attachments of education and work exp letter was disappeared. Last week, they were still there.
