I submitted my application in student category but today after 2 weeks they sent me an email that i better suit for skilled worker job offer category

What does it mean. They changed my file already. But are there any drawbacks for that?

could please inform me that, do I need to give any kind of software engineering related exam to get licence.
Apart from Code of Business Ethics how many other exam I need to give?

Lot of members are asking about the License related details for SINP licensure required:--

For SINP Licence and specifically for I.S.P. there are multiple routes to obtain it. If you go to their website, they have tool to assess which route you can take. In my case I took education plus experience route. However first confirm this from them by sending them email at info@cips.ca. For the rest of the answers for your questions please see below.
Code of Business Ethics certificate
You need to get this certificate by passing the exam online. It will take half an hour max to pass the test. They specifically highlighted this exam part in yellow.

1. As per your job duties (current and past), you have to decide in which BOK (book of Knowledge) list you are falling in. CIPS gives this list in application form. As per that you need to mention this thing in application form but for education plus experience route and established IT professionals route.

2. WES evaluation should be course by course. Document by document they won't accept. For this if you have already completed WES in past than you just need to upgrade it to course by course. You can easily get this from WES website in your account. There will be some charges. Also make sure to send the copy of your wes report directly from wes to thier address written in application form. For this you have to add manual recipient in wes account.

3. Demonstrate knowledge of code of business ethics, this is online test with few questions that you need to clear. They have provided the link as well and highlighted the same in yellow on their website. This certificate you get in half an hour which you need to attach while application for the I.S.P. They will provide the document as well to pass the test.

4. CIPS membership can be obtain while filling the application form as they usually give that option too. So this will be covered once you fill the application form.

5. You need to provide reference letter(s) from your client or employer who can comment on your competence and confirm your last 24 months work with them.

6. Rest is explanatory about the application fees. They have given the link in which for particular Saskatchewan we have to pay mentioned amount with additional membership fee.

Reference Letters --
Please have at least one reference letter from your Manager or any higher level person who can comment on your competence and also your last 24 months job confirmation.

Also they haven't mentioned anything about experience letters but for safer side provide the same for all the jobs you have been in. As we are mentioning in the application form for each year so it's good to provide the proofs.

Good day,
I successfully submitted my SINP application and was assigned a file number on the 10th of January 2018. I just received a mail from SINP on the 3rd of May 2018 requesting that I send evidence of proof of fund from October 2017 to May 2nd 2018. ( I had initially uploaded my evidence of funds when I was submitting in January)
1. Please What will be the next steps after sending this proof of fund?
2. How long would it take me from this point to getting an the provincial nomination certificate and ITA ? I have already created an express Entry profile and my crs is 431 however would reduce by my next birthday.

Once they receive proof of fund and everything else is fine, you should get Sinp nomination. That will add 600 points to your express entry score. After that in next EE draw your profile will be selected and you will receive ITA. All the best.May I know in which SINP category you applied.

Requesting someone to help me with the ITCP application. I am trying to fill that and not sure in how many words shall I respond on each question. Also, apart from ethics exam and this application form, what else shall I provide to them. I have already requested upgrade on my WES assessment to course by course and CIPS will receive the assessment in less than a week.

Still in Process on their website it has mentioned that 22 weeks to get the confirmation but already 24 weeks has gone away.

I am frustrated to put my in SINP . Can any experts let me know what is the actual time line

I have applied my file under SNIP EE on July 5th 2018 under NOC 2173 Software Engineer.

I have ECA from WES under which my MCA degree is not recognized. So Bachelor of Science is consider under Bachelor of Science (Four Year)

But I have ECA from IQAS also under which my MCA is considered. So it accreditation is
4 year Bachelor of Science Degree with focus in Science and Computer Application AND Master of Science Degree with focus on computer Application


So I need guidance for SINP Requirements Related to Professional Status or Licensure

If I go for WES ICAP course-by-course credential assessment. Will my MCA not consider ?

OR any similar process for IQAS ?

OR any other option, which would be best for my case ?

Post these qualifications I have 12.5 Years of IT Experience (International).

I would like to know which licence should I apply for SINP?

I have done my education assessment from WES but course by course is needed i think now

I am having non it/computer degree ( engineering). I applied isp under experienced IT professional route on Jan. My total IT exp more than 15 years. I have applied sinp ee program recently. But I heared that if work exp is not matched with education sinp will reject the application. Is it true?
