Hi

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between OID and Express entry.
I know that OID is paper based and Express entry is online and there time difference. But is there any difference in requirement? Both are asking for min 60 points.

I heard that in express entry, Wes certificate is required for your education document to equivalent? But i dont see this kind of information on official website of Saskatchewan.

Another thing is in express entry, you are required at least 7 band in ilets. However in OID, at least 4 band required?

But if you see the requirement of EE SINP , they have mentioned Min 4 in ilets both OID and EE. Can you please provide link where they have separate requirement for EE for SINP

SINP does not explicitly mention it in their requirements. However, to be eligible for express entry stream you need to have a valid profile in the Federal Express Entry. To be able to do that that means you need to meet their requirement of 67 points.

except for people eligible in FST stream.

both FSW and CEC requires CLB7 or above

I know few things.
1. Express entry is online system while OID is paper based
2. Process of express entry is very fast as compared to OID

The question is there is no difference in requirement especially in Ilets and education certificate?

I heard that Ilets for SINP express entry requires min 7. however in OID min 4. Please confirm.
The other thing is in SINP express entry, equivalent education certificate required from WES while in OID, only scan copy of your original documents can be uploaded. Please confirm.

Both needs some sort of online submission. For SINP (either OID or EE) you need to create your profile in OASIS. However for EE, you need to have CIC Express Entry profile (see the requirements for different streams here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-express.asp). Once nominated, for OID you need to submit your paper based application to CIC. For EE, nomination will go straight to your CIC express entry profile and you need to accept from there and continue the process online.

Thank you for response.

The main question what is the main difference in the eligibility requirement?

Main difference is language only. People with lower language score of CLB 7 but with occupation in demand still eligible for it. And also IELTS band 7 is not CLB 7. Search it on google you will find it.
