So annoying. In my case, I am a physical therapist based in the Philippines. And as a foreign graduate, my credentials need to be evaluated by the Alliance of PT, take some subjects in the university before I can apply for licensure examination. A job offer for foreign graduates Physical Therapist is not possible at this point.

Hello

I applied under SINP prog and got my immigration last year in october. I went to canada in february to get the PR card and came back to Pakistan.

I am planning to move there permanently in December this year or max by January 2012.

I went under SINP-Family Sponsor and also managed to arrange a job with an employer over there. Just two weeks back the immigration had written to that employer asking about my whereabouts.?

Please someone advice me whether I should tell them that i have come back to Pakistan and will be back by January 2012 or pack up my stuff and leave for canada asap?(honestly, i cant go back to canada before december cuz of some family commitments)

One of my cousin also went through this program and a similar letter of her was received by the employer. She also landed in February and moved to Toronta. On receiving the letter, she replied that she is visiting family in canada and will be back by August. They simply replied her back "Thank you for informing us".

Will i face any serious consequences for not being in canada? such as deportation or not allowed to come back to canada?

Please advice

there is no law about this, and once you become pr, you can live wherever you want !!!

[

There are a few limitations on permanent residents:

* You cannot vote in certain elections.
* You may be ineligible for certain jobs requiring high-level security clearances.
* If you or any of your family members commit a serious crime, you or your family members risk being deported from Canada.

]
also :
[Canadians also share rights and freedoms with permanent residents, for example:

* the right to enter, remain in or leave Canada;
* the right to reside in any province or territory.
]
so
plz stop telling people that a PR person can not move out ....... !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is true and also true SIPN also in conditional PR status. You can not work any other province then Saskatchewan. Because you sign a Saskatchewan affidavit paper than you will stay and find for a job in here.
