CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE??????????????????/THIS IS THE THIRD TIME ME POSTING THIS. PLEASE HELP.
--------------------
Hi Everyone,

I am a recent graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, and I have job offer in my field of study. The SINP is taking too long to determine if I am eligible to apply through their program (SINP), as it has been already 3 months (and no update yet) that my employer filled out the online form for my job offer, so that I could get the Job Approval Letter, last document I need to apply through SINP.

I was told by the SINP that the processing of the Job Approval Letter takes at least 6 weeks (and they said that they can only discuss the status of the Job Approval Letter with the employer). Also Human Resources (not my employer, but they filled out the form so technically they are considered to be `employer` by SINP) told me that I should know whether I can apply for the permanent residency through the SINP by the end end of September.

Also last time when I posted a question similar to this one, some people advised me to contact the employer to check the online form, as they may have not filled out some info, causing a delay in processing. The employer checked it and it says `in process`.

I really have no idea what to do. I am also very scared that if I cannot get my application in time, I would have to go through Federal Canadian Experience Class, which seems to be shifting towards `Express Entry`.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Hello, you'd better ask your employer to check with SINP about the job approval letter. the main reason for the delay for job approval letter is because your job code and the salary level. Your wage have to exceed the median wage in the city you are living in.

yes i agree with you cindyzhou. the employer of my brother also phoned SINP after almost six month of waiting. then the problem was the salary was too low. When his employer changed the salary rate SINP approved in a week.

Thank you so much yellowdea and cindyzhou.
I contacted my employer and she will hopefully contact the SINP on Monday. I really hope it will be an easy fix just like cindyzhou described.

haha. Good luck. It should be all good. Like yellowdea said, once the salary is raised, you will get the job approval letter within one week.

Hi Sp_Bd, Lsuman, Willem, Abdellah, Stone, Benjamin and Asad Abbas

Did u all got the nomination letter by post. If yes, when ?

Also, whether u guys applied to federal or not ?

For all others:

i think the next batch of nomination will be issued from September. May be there will be a limit for each month.

Anyways, keep fingers crossed.

Hi cindyzhou and yellodea, and of course others who might be able to help.

I sent both of you personal messages, but I wanted to write it here so that if you miss the personal message you might see this one.

My employer contacted the SINP and they told her my wage was below the Saskatoon's average wage, and I am therefore ineligible to apply through SINP. Also my job is 2-year contract. I know that it says "permanent full-time" on the SINP website, but when I asked them last summer, they said that I might be eligible to apply with a 2-year contract.

My question is: if my employer agrees to give me a raise so I make above Saskatoon's average, do you think I should try to get the Job Approval Letter with a 2-year contract (with a salary above Saskatoon average wage)? What is your experience (or your family's/friend's experience) who applied with a NON-permanent job (like mine) to the SINP?

I would really appreciate any kind of information.

Thanks in advance,

Congrats SP_BD! Is your application with job offer?

Thanks
Thank you very much.
My application was "without job offer" that SINP opened for 250 applicants.
